I just wanted you to know that everytime I bring a guest to join me at Oxford Greens, they always rave about the greens. They have been the best part of the course for years, and they were tremendous this year. My friends always want to come back to play the course again; mainly because of the greens. They roll great; are in good condition; and the quicker the better.

Overall, the course is in better condition than it was last year. Unfortunately, not everyone fills their divots in the fairways. The divot filling parties have helped a great deal and they are fun at the same time.

I am always proud to bring a guest to play a round of golf at Oxford Greens and socialize in the clubhouse afterwards.

I just wanted to take some time to let you know that the golf outing I held at Oxford Greens September 24 was great – despite heavy rain for few days prior, the course was in really good shape. The staff was very helpful and courteous, and Rachel did a great job setting everything up. Thanks again!

Hello, just wanted to drop you a line about a great experience my group had this past monday–1154am—One of our guys had the $32 coupon and the others did not—Ray explained that we needed 4 to take advantage of the rate. At first we were a little upset but Ray did his best to make our day great , and he did. Just wanted to compliment you , your staff and the great golf course. We will definetly be back

Good Morning,
I played the course at Oxford Greens over the weekend and had a wonderful time. This was actually my first time playing here and I am looking forward to coming back again soon. The Greens were in great shape as well as the pace of play. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end, and I especially enjoyed the bartender Joy which made the experience worthwhile. Keep up the good work!

I just can not say enough of how well maintained the course is for a public course. The fairways are impeccable and the greens are like glass, making for a very challenging round. The staff was nothing less than awesome. They made me feel like I was a member of a private club. Keep up the good work and I will defiantly be back for more fun. One of the best courses I’ve played in CT. Even this early in the season it was in great shape. Look forward to playing it again. With the many tee boxes it is fair to all golfers and still very demanding.

Green’s Aerification: What’s the Point?

We have scheduled the spring green’s aerification for Monday – Wednesday, April 4-6. We will be closed for those days. As many of you know, this process is scheduled twice a season, spring and fall. Our superintendent, Bryan Barrington believes this practice to be crucial for maintaining our spectacular greens throughout the season. We have attached an article on the importance of aerification:
